As a Personal Tutor you will be a central contact for the student and will actively promote pastoral support from enrolment and right through to the end of the ‘student journey’. Along with the curriculum team, you will enable a supportive transition and induction process through contact with student and parents. This will be facilitated by your use of the College monitoring system.

- To conduct effective tutorial activities.
- To promote acceptable learner behaviour, attendance, punctuality and progress.
- To liaise with Curriculum and Support Staff and inform the appropriate manager where a learner’s place may be at risk and to ensure appropriate support is in place.
