Leigh Trust is a Multi Academy Trust within Birmingham, with five large primary schools, and further plans for growth.
We are looking to recruit an experienced School Business Manager to support our family of schools and assist with the developments of the Trust Core Services.
The Role
The role will have an allocation of 2 schools within our Trust, with the core purpose of supporting our Head Teachers and school based staff, ensuring that the Trusts policies, procedures and controls are followed and deadlines are met.
This position will be supporting Alston Primary School and Nansen Primary School.
Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, you will be required to assist in ensuring all developments of new or revised procedures, in line with the Trust’s strategic development plan, are implemented successfully and are fully embedded within the schools.
Working as part of the central team you will promote the highest standards of business ethos within the finance, facilities and personnel functions. You will also strategically ensure the most effective use of resources to support the academies' learning objectives.
You will be part of the overall central services team ensuring that the department as a whole maintains the highest level of integrity. This will involve efficient/ effective filing, a clean desk policy and all other aspects that uphold a professional service provision
This will be an exciting, varied, hands-on, busy and challenging role requiring excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced School Business Manager with CSBM or DSBM Qualification. Accountancy qualifications are desirable, however experience of financial, HR and Facilities procedures are essential.
