We are a family run company, looking for Flat Deck Driver to be part of our family . The Flat deck driver is responsible for completing all types of flat deck freight deliveries, pickups.and ensure a high level of customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate and perform routine pre & post trip inspections.
• Perform efficient pickups and deliveries.
• Complete all necessary shipping documents to ensure proper freight handling .
• Friendly, customer service based Driver who take pride in being on time, self sufficient, and can provide knowledgeable service to our customers.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicle.
• Maintain logs of working hours as stated by federal regulations.
• Supports all Safety & Health initiatives.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Valid Class 1/AZ driver's License with air brake endorsement. (Newly license holders are encouraged to apply)
• Must be able to enter the United States and have necessary border crossing documents.

• Experience with all types of pickup and delivery activities.
• Ability to work independently and with a minimum of supervision.
• Employees must commit to perform all work in a safe manner
• Lifting up to 75 lbs (freight handling, tarping), pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs of force.
• Long periods of sitting required while driving, climbing into truck cab or trailer.

Our Commitments

• Driver with limited experience will enter in house training designed for new Class 1/ AZ license holder's . This program is tailored to provide 13 weeks of cab training.
• An Assigned Truck - No one will drive your unit when you take a few days off.
• Average 11,000 miles to 13,000 miles per month

• All pick and drops are paid
• Detention and layover are paid.

• Tarping, chaining and strapping are paid.
• Provide assistance with Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program
