Title: Class 2 Driver Days / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver
If you are an newly passed or experience HGV Class 2 Driver, this job may be for you!
We are currently looking for Class 2 drivers for our client based in Tilbrook, Milton Keynes.
It is Monday to Friday role starting from 06 am paying a basic hourly rate of £15 per hour and £20.46 for any hours worked in excess of 8 hours per day. You will be required to undertake deliveries to business's and residential home (up to 8 drops per day). You will be required to unload when making deliveries via pallet truck.
You will be required to complete a day induction and driving assessment, positions will start immediately after.
An up to date CPC qualification and digital tacho-graph card is required.
Responsibilities to include:
- Inspect your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary.
- Making sure you get to and from customers on time.
- Scanning goods can be involved
- Delivering Goods into customers house and stores.
- Driving to different locations across England, including London.
Qualifications required:
- Full UK Licence - Category C
- CPC Driver Qualification Card
- Digi-Card Required
- No DD, DR, DG, IN points on your licences for insurance purposes
- London Experience essential
- A maximum of no more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes
- Ability to coordinate and communicate at all levels.
