We are a professional, agile company with a goal of providing our customers with a professional and on time service .
We are looking for an experienced bulker Driver to join our team. the truck will be based in Brechin so the candidate must be able to commute to the yard on a daily basis . The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Our drivers must also be able to read maps and follow directions, as well as possess excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a truck through out Scotland .
- Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Load and unload cargo in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers using two-way radios or mobile phones.
- Follow safety regulations for the secure transport of hazardous materials.
- Be willing to work on a weekend when required
- To have the occasional night out in the truck
- Be willing to work in a team for the benifit of the company
