Job description
Are you a Class 1 driver based in Whitchurch or the surrounding areas? Are you looking for either 5 days a week or ad hoc days? Are you looking for work with a transport company that cares? If so this role could be perfect for you so apply now!
This company are recruiting for drivers who can start times between 03.00 - 08.00 and 16.00 - 20.00 would be required to do shift lengths of 9-13hrs. There can be nights out/ tramping work in this role or also no night out runs to suit the driver. For the right candidate there is opportunity to go full time after a 12 week period. THERE IS IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE!
Rates of pay vary from each role but start off at £14.00ph and up to £17.00ph
Skills needed
- Class 1 Driving Licence
- Digital Tacho card
- Current CPC
- Clean Drivers Licence preferred (minor speeding offences will be considered)
- Ideally need to have had a minimum of 12 months Class 1 experience.
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work on your own initiative and self-manage whilst out on the road
- You must have eligibility to work in the UK
- Be able to provide two references
