Are you a reliable HGV Driver looking for a long-term career?
We are Foley & Miles. A privately-owned, long-established family business based in Essex across 2 depots including East Tilbury.
We are currently hiring for a professional Class 1 (CAT C+E) driver to join our friendly transport team either departing from Tilbury or Thurrock, depending on your location.
As a professional HGV Driver you'll be driving modern, clean and well-maintained vehicles from manufactures including Scania and MAN. This position includes driving a 'semi - trailer combination' Generally, the starting times are between 5-6am, but some flexibility required and following the EU regs throughout. The working pattern is MONDAY to FRIDAY with Saturdays and nights out as optional.
Although we're looking for experienced HGV Drivers, newly qualified are also welcome! - in a nutshell, we are looking for those who are reliable, committed, positive and wish to be part of the great team.
We require:
Class 1 licence
Have no more than 6 points on their licence (minor offences only, no DR10s or IN10s)
Have held their licence for at least 6 months
In return we provide:
