Job description
We looking for an experienced HGV class 1 driver who is flexible to do Amazon tramper work.
Duties:
Actively takes responsibility for keeping vehicle clean & tidy.
Is proactive in identifying potential health & safety hazards in the workplace.
Ensure vehicle is in safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use, & are operated in a safe manner.
Follow the loading process at the Hub
Ensure that loads are delivered safely and on time
Follow driving hours and WTD.
Follow Health and Safety Guidelines.
Ensuring driving is carried out in a safe & efficient manner, in full compliance with road traffic regulations.
To oversee the safe unloading of vehicle at customer premises, ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed & returned without delay.
The desired candidates will have:
HGV 1(Category C+E License).
Digital Tachograph Card. (tacho history evidence)
Full Valid CPC Card.
Reliable
Excellent timekeeping
Able to read written instructions & record accurately work carried out.
Strong work ethic, committed and self-motivated
Good Attitude and Communication
Excellent customer service skills.
Flexible approach to types of work.
Some work requires nights out
Minimum 2 years driving Class 1 (Newly qualified drivers considered).
Maximum 6 points for insurance purposes. (No DR Convictions).
Details of HGV1 Driver:
Salary: £14.50 - £18.50p/h PAYE & Umbrella Options available,
LTD £180/day plus £25 night allowance
Shifts available Monday - Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Working Hours: Guaranteed 8hrs paid per shift
Duration: Ongoing
Hours of Work: Various start times from 05.00 am
