Job description
We are seeking a part time Delivery Driver who is available to work a flexible shift to conduct deliveries and pickups in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Diego County. Business operating hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Schedule varies depending on size of the run.
Responsibilities
- Plan route for daily runs.
- Load or unload materials onto or off delivery trucks.
- Check all load–related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
- Check vehicles before driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers, ensuring the order being. delivered is correct and maintaining professionalism in appearance and conduct.
- Operate vehicle safety and obey all traffic laws.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and emptying trash as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields
- Clean driving record
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline-oriented
- Valid CA driver license
- Social security card or valid workers permit. (USCIS permit is valid)
Vehicle: 20ft Isuzu N-Series Diesel Flatbed Truck (CDL not required).
