Position: City Tractor Driver (AM Shift)

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Tractor Driver who will be responsible for picking up and delivering freight/loads in a timely and safe and secure manner. This role reports to the Terminal Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire loading/picking/delivering/completing paperwork process to ensure all orders are complete and meet appointment times.
Responsibilities:
§ Loading the outbound truck
§ Maintains process management, and paperwork
§ Use ELD
§ Get customer signature on a tablet app at time of pickup and delivery
§ Ensures compliance with all appropriate policies, best practices and safety rules
§ Willing to work occasional extended hours as required and able to handle up to 50 pound boxes
§ Other duties as required
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
§ Class 1 Drivers Licence
§ Experience in a similar role for 2 years desirable
§ Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
§ Good analytical and mathematical skills
§ Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
§ Ability to meet urgent deadlines
§ Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
Hours and Location:
§ Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 16:00
§ Terminal Location: Kelowna, BC
Remuneration:
$25.00 – 29.00 per hour
