About the Role
XtraMile-UK Ltd Operating Centre is located at SANCTUARY ROAD, LONGFORD, HOUNSLOW, TW6 3TE are looking at rapid growth projections, providing long-term careers for drivers. We are looking for Drivers who are energetic, personable and safe. We provide the truck, but you should have a clean driving record and driving licence. Drivers will generally work from {Y-Z), but occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays.

HGV Driver Benefits_ Driver is not required to assist with any unloading/loading. Driving only from fulfillment centre to fulfillment centre_
- Traction work only– drop/swap trailers. On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only

HGV Driver Requirements_ Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C / C+E Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)_
- Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
- Pass a background check (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
- Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
- Be able to speak & read English satisfactorily
- Have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver’s License (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
- Approved drivers consist of drivers with BGC results as “Meets Requirements” and drug and alcohol tests with negative results.
HGV Driver Responsibilities_ Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to warehouse on time Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner_
- Work occasional evenings and weekends
- Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
- Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow
- Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
- There is no loading /unloading or cargo securing requirements for them (the fulfilment centre team will take care of those)
