Accept Recruitment is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of our well- established clients in Tilbury, RM18

Requirements for role:

• Class 1 Licence CE (preferably 2 years’ experience, can accept 1 year if continuous driving)
• VALID Driver Tacho Card
• VALID DQC card (Driver CPC)
• Good knowledge of legal obligations regarding operating HGV’s

Day work only

You will have a roughly 5-hour induction / assessment which is paid upon your first shift – ideally, you would do 2 drops after your induction with an assessor.

Pay rate:

• £17.00ph
• Minimum of 10 hours paid providing you haven’t finished early by choice.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• This is a key role is to deliver goods safely to our customers whilst maintaining full legal compliance using new vehicles with the latest Technology.
• Flatbed trailer deliveries to builder merchants in the area.
• Making sure that all loads are delivered in a timely and safe manner.
• Complete all paperwork on time to a satisfactory level using the app on provided PDA.
• Assisting management on site to enable better productivity.
• Completing daily vehicle checks.
