Job description
To support the Pan Dorset Treating Tobacco Dependency service following the NHS Long Term Plan (LTP) which includes priority commitments to support people remaining healthier for longer through the funding of new evidence-based NHS prevention at scale programmes that focus on reducing smoking.
As hospital sites are smoke free we want to encourage all patients who smoke to consider the use of alternatives to smoking whilst staying as an inpatient and continue to support any attempts to quit smoking upon discharge.
Based at: Bournemouth with cross site working

Using skills and knowledge: to deliver public health messages to inpatients , their families and the wider community with particular reference to the harmful effects of smoking. To work geographically across the Integrated Care System (ICS) supporting inpatients at University Hospital Dorset, Dorset County Hospital and Dorset HealthCare.
