Job description

Protocol is excited to be working with a college based in Nottinghamshire in their search for a seasoned Travel & Tourism Lecturer. The successful candidate will be working with full-time students delivering on various travel, tourism and aviation related courses across Levels 1 - 3 whilst ensuring an outstanding level of education is provided. The college is committed to providing a broad range of academic qualifications and the department is looking for passionate and motivated people to join the team.

Role responsibilities

  • Full-time/permanent role, starting in late August/September.
  • Deliver across Levels 1-3 in Travel & Tourism.
  • Maintain learning, assessment and teaching quality through critical self-reflection and collegial activity.
  • Maintain professional standards and expertise by undertaking relevant professional development.
  • Be responsible for the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children wherever applicable within the role.
  • Ensure an outstanding level of learning through engaging and interactive lessons.

The person & qualifications

  • Degree in Travel & Tourism or related subject.
  • Experience delivering at FE.
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • L2 Maths & English.
  • A positive and supportive attitude to student learning and experience.
