Travel, Tourism & Aviation Lecturer
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill)
Salary: £25,816 - £36,743 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Part time ( 3 days a week)
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Travel, Tourism & Aviation Lecturer to join our Service Industries department.
In this exciting role you will be delivering teaching and learning across our Travel, Tourism & Aviation provision across mainly Level 2-3.
Working closely with your managers and the rest of the departmental team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with students to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will act as both a course lead and a personal tutor to students, whilst promoting attendance, participating in team meetings and contributing to the planning, development and reviewing of activities within your subject area. It is also essential that you contribute to various open evenings, parent’s evenings and similar events as and when required.
The successful candidate must have:
- Travel & Tourism, and/or Aviation qualifications at minimum level 3 or above
- Previous relevant teaching experience (preferably within FE)
- Travel & Tourism or Aviation industry experience
- A teaching qualification
A Degree in Travel & Tourism or an Aviation related subject is strongly desired though not essential
