Job description

Provide an operational and centralised approached for Sky Group relating to incident management response and proactive alerting of Group key stakeholders to issues and trends affecting Sky’s people, assets, business and reputation. The postholder will have previous experience in assessing live intelligence and threats and identify future security risks, monitor operations and travel and coordinate a response to incidents. The job holder is likely to have a substantial background in risk, intelligence and travel management and leading teams in this environment.
What you’ll do:
  • Draft and disseminate timely, concise, interpretative and immediately usable crisis communications, aggregated as appropriate, to Group and other key stakeholders during a major security incident/crisis that will impact Sky operations
  • Provide security risk assessments for selected key stakeholders within Group for relevant activities, persons-at-risk, sites and assets.
  • Complete International travel threat analysis in line with the Intelligence YARDSTICK for Group wide staff and teams travelling abroad, utilising information obtained from intelligence and travel risk platforms e.g Everbridge, Anvil, DragonFly and Dataminr.
  • Evolve in the role; the candidate must continually improve their own skills, take on further responsibilities, and look for and use advanced influencing skills to promote improvements in their own job description and the function of the SSC.
  • Absorb large and disparate amounts of critical data and make informed and timely decisions about incidents in a time-restricted situation.
What you’ll bring:
  • You will have experience of having worked within a Threat, Intelligence and Travel environment.
  • Ideally be fluent in a second language (preferably German/Italian) but not essential
  • An educational background to cement your operational experience
  • Have a strong proficiency in Microsoft packages
  • Be experienced using various intelligence platforms (Everbridge, DataMinr, DragonFly, Anvil, EVB Signal and more)
  • Be calm and focused in high-pressure situations; be comfortable working on shift or lone working.
