Are you an experienced, data-driven marketer looking for an exciting new challenge? This is your opportunity to join the UK Card Services (UKCS) Marketing Team within the International Card Services business. You will use your creativity and marketing aptitude to increase awareness and drive engagement of our Global Premium Travel & Lifestyle Services (TLS) benefits alongside Local Travel benefits.

The role will report into the UK Consumer Marketing team, whilst also working very closely with the TLS Global Marketing Team. As a strong relationship builder, you will effectively collaborate across these teams, connecting UK ICS and TLS objectives, driving TLS penetration and supporting Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Billed Business Targets. You will be responsible for flawlessly executing integrated global and local travel benefit marketing campaigns across the year and all Below the Line channels, and driving engagement in our Digital Travel booking channel - American Express Travel Online.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Using Data Driven insights to develop annual travel benefit communications plans which effectively integrate the Global TLS Premium benefits campaigns across Fine Hotels +Rewards, The Hotel Collection and International Airline Programme into local market travel campaigns
  • Engaging relevant product, benefit, and consumer marketing teams as well as TLS Marketing Teams to ensure our marketing campaigns are aligned and prioritised every quarter.
  • Working directly with local creative agencies to develop UK and International Currency Card Cardmember campaigns ensuring Global TLS supplied assets are utilised when applicable.
  • Responsible for the multiple approvals of these campaigns. Ensuring the local marketing offers are in line with compliance requirements from a marketing perspective.
  • Responsible for the campaign set up to support campaigns including data submissions and local American Express Travel Online website updates
  • Working with the central TLS Digital Customer Experience team and the Central Marketing Team to ensuring updates to the website are in line with both local market requirements and approval requirements.
  • Lead collaboration with TLS servicing team to drive internal engagement with UK travel marketing initiatives for Cardmember facing colleagues, in collaboration with Global Partnerships Engagement team
  • Monitoring Global and Local Travel Benefit utilisation, External Competitor Landscape and Campaign Performance and producing regular updates for stakeholders to educate on the findings

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience executing marketing communications across all Below The Line channels – including Email, Print, App and Social Media
  • A constantly curious person with a keen interest in utilising data and insights to set campaign objectives, track performance and test and learn new approaches to communicate in a targeted and relevant way to drive conversion and engagement.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and collaboration to drive mutual business outcomes
  • A keen eye for detail is key: proof-reading and application of copy and language to deliver clear and engaging Customer communications within brand guidelines.
  • Ability to have a strong voice at the table with both International Card Services and Travel Lifestyle stakeholders, demonstrating strong organisational skills and process approach to support and educate stakeholders
  • Have a sound understanding of Consumer needs
  • A creative mind is key in delivering strong, compelling, and differentiated communications
  • Budget administration - ability to manage budget lines independently.
  • Previous experience in the Travel Industry in a marketing capacity, is preferable.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment
