As a Travel Design and Realisation Support Consultant with TCG Consulting you will use your business acumen and product expertise to assess strategies, identify opportunities/solutions to develop roadmaps, obtain knowledge of policy structure/strategic imperatives to manage TMPE programs and focus on efforts in optimizing the client’s global program. You will have the ability to draw conclusions from data analysis and present those conclusions to the client to enact positive change.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide support on technical guidance to the Corporate Travel Team to ensure the consistent application of tools, methodologies, and best practices to provide services at the highest quality and in a timely manner to guarantee the effectiveness of the Travel program
- Works with personnel resources and suppliers across functions and professions to ensure conformance with requirements of each project(s) and client expectations and deliverables are exceeded.
- Ensure the services and key deliverables conform to client contractual requirements, and manages the delivery of services to the agreed schedule, quality, and scope
- Delivers and manages multiple clients with same or different projects and service deadlines
- Ensure the Corporate Travel Team provides high quality level client service and to enhance the visibility of the Travel Program providing a foundation for strong partnerships with clients
- Identify opportunities for savings/cost avoidance to TCG client engagements
- Identify and implement standardization and process simplification in the global environment
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts or rates with travel service providers Assist in the management of regional and global preferred supplier relationships including quarterly and annual business reviews and assessment of all performance metrics. Assist in developing program goals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, business unit leaders, and executive team to assure compliance.
- Benchmark and update T&E policies and all related materials
- Advise on further business opportunities for TCG services from the client and provides information to appropriate Category Leader
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Extensive experience work experience in Regional or Global Travel, Meeting, Payment, Expense lead
- Experienced in implementing online booking tool solutions and file integration expertise
- Proficient skills using Microsoft Office tools especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Significant experience in the delivery of services to their clients
- Excellent client service skills and the ability to work with all levels of management and staff
- Proficiency and experience reviewing, analysing, and reconciling data with a strong attention to detail
- Significant experience in partnering with internal and external clients with building trust, impact and influence
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Global Leadership Professional (GLP) or Certified Corporate Travel Execution (CCTE) certification
- Corporate Travel Management/Supervision experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry systems such as, but not limited to, systems agencies utilize in the delivery of services to their clients (i.e. GDS, online booking tools, reporting, etc.), and Meeting and Expenses solutions
- In-depth knowledge of the intricacies of the travel marketplace, i.e. the suppliers, travel management trends, best practices, and emerging travel technologies industry, and the ability to identify and leverage opportunities to control travel costs
- Excellent client service skills and the ability to work with all levels of management and staff is essential
NOTE: This is a Remote Opportunity: Flexibility to work in an environment that adapts to global client schedules is expected. Fully Remote Position (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm flexible)
