Due to expansion within our Head Office support team, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Travel Coordinator to join us at our Head Office in Leeds.
As a Travel Coordinator, you will be looking after all business travel requirements for MMCG. Your role will include a variety of booking arrangements, and you will be working with colleagues at all levels to ensure an excellent customer experience and logistic service across the business.
The main duties of the role will include:
- Handling all travel requests from colleagues across the business.
- Managing the end-to-end travel booking process.
- Arranging and managing travel requirements, including flights, accommodation, car rentals and ground transfers.
- Providing accurate reporting on travel requests and current spend.
- Managing credit card reconciliations.
- Building relationships with external vendors and identifying efficiencies with existing contracts.
- Keeping up to date with travel legislation.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses excellent communication skills, together with enthusiasm and a proactive, logical attitude towards problem solving.
Additional experience and capabilities required also include:
- Previous experience coordinating business travels (in-house or through agency) is essential
- Previous experience working in an administrative role
- Exceptional organisational skills and telephone manners
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Ability to liaise with people at all levels
