Travel Agency Manager

• · Plans work schedules and assign tasks and responsibilities.
• · Take part in familiarization visits to new destinations to gather information on issues and amenities of interest to customers.

· Liaise with travel partners, including airlines and hotels, to manage bookings and schedules, often a year in advance.

• · Co-ordinates the activities of clerical, secretarial and other staff
• · Discusses client’s requirements and advises on road, rail, air and sea travel and accommodation.

· Makes and confirms travel and accommodation bookings, arranges group holidays, tours, and individual itineraries.

• · Deal with customer enquiries and aim to meet their expectations.
• · Provide sales report to head office.
• · Advice on currency and passport/visa regulations and any necessary health precautions needed.

· Source products and destinations to meet customer demands for bespoke travel and sustainable tourism.

• · Deliver and exceed branch performance and productivity.
• · Determines financial, staffing, material, and other short-and long-term needs.The skills, qualifications and experience required for the role.
• · Bachelor’s degree and good experience in related field
• · Proven experience as a Travel agency manager in a travel agency
• · Proficiency in MS office
• · Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• · Knowledge of consulting variety of customers in a travel agency

· Ability to build strategic working relationships internally and externally with customers.

• · Proven experience of working in a B2C sales environment.
• · Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• · A commitment to developing self and others.
• · Must show initiative and desire for continual self-development and learning.
• · Able to work independently.Educational Qualification- Bachelor’s degree and good experience in related field

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
