Job description
Full Time, Monday - Friday
Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age; have a good understanding of elderly, handicapped and have the ability to relate to them; must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions; have a good driving record; and a valid Class E driver’s license.
Education: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and CPR Certified. Must maintain a current certification in the state of Missouri throughout employment and must achieve 12 hours of in-service education annually as required by federal and state regulations.
Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual must demonstrate the following competencies: oral communication; written communication; quality management; professionalism; quality; attendance and punctuality; and dependability.
Primary purpose is transportation in the facility van/bus for residents to and/or from medical appointments; gathers and copies appropriate information for the medical appointment from the resident record; keeps the van/bus filled with gasoline; coordinates with the Maintenance Supervisor to take the van/bus in for maintenance and repairs; and communicates needs to Social Services Director.
