The Opportunity
At Aggregate Industries we now have a great new opportunity for a Transport Manager with our Wiltshire Heavy Building Materials team. Our Wiltshire team and this role cover multiple sites at Devizes, Tewkesbury, Faringdon & Theale. This is a truly varied role with a varied fleet to manage. You’ll take responsibility for a 60 vehicle fleet ranging from Mixers & Tippers to Skip Lorries & Arctics.
You’ll be responsible for any infringements, defects as well as liaising with insurance companies where required.
As a company we’re very keen to develop our teams, so you’ll take the lead on recommending further Training & Development of the drivers & Planners within your team.
Who you are
You’ll already be experienced in the logistics industry and hold a CPC Transport Manager certificate.
We’re a H&S focussed business, so you’ll need to help maintain our current standards.
With our main depot being Devizes you’ll need to be commutable to this site.
