Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Transport Planning Administrator to join the UK Transport Team based in Lutterworth. The shift pattern for this position will be 10am - 6:30pm Monday - Friday.
About the Role
How you will contribute
- Responsible for maintaining & uploading POD documents in a timely manner.
- Proactively chasing carrier partners to ensure missing documents are received in line with customer SLA.
- Uploading order files & planning routes according to set parameters to ensure goods are delivered on-time & in a cost-effective manner.
- Communicate with syncreon Control Tower in relation to distressed orders whilst identifying any delivery conflicts on orders that are due to be planned for delivery.
- Liaise with the warehouse operations team regarding order queries.
- Interaction with drivers in issuing delivery paperwork whilst ensuring any additional delivery requirements are conveyed concisely.
Key Qualifications
- Strong office administration skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, preferably experience of Microsoft Access
- Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets (sorting/filtering etc).
- Professional, accurate and precise, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
