Transport System Administrator – Eccles Manchester

The Lanes Group needs an experienced Transport administrator to join our growing team in Eccles Manchester.
Salary: £ 25,000 - £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The job:
We are looking for an experienced system administrator to join our established team to support the Transport manager in running the general day to day tasks to ensure all compliance and department needs are met, monitor the group incident database and liaise with the insurance provider & depot network.
The role will include updating in house systems including the distribution of system reports, managing data coming through our inhouse fleet systems, ensure RFL / MOTs and statutory inspections are up to date and logged, oversee maintenance checks & schedules, issue work orders / purchase orders as and when required.
You will be responsible for the producing, checking and the distribution of system reports for both senior managers and the depot network.
About you:
You’ll will already be familiar with a transport office environment, have previous fleet maintenance system experience, data entry experience, excellent IT skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) and the ability to learn new in house IT systems, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to converse with people at all levels.
