About the role
The role is part of Carrier Transicold, industry leader, providing customers around the world with advanced, energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable container refrigeration systems and generator sets, direct-drive and diesel truck units, and trailer refrigeration systems.
Working within the Supply Chain team this role is necessary to ensure we receive and store relevant compliance documentation in the required format for all imported shipments. Once a process has been created the role will require the daily maintenance of paperwork and on a monthly basis carrying out audits against lists to ensure all documentation has been received and stored.
The role will also involve supporting the warehouse team with the paperwork required for part returns and covering for the Transport and Customs Specialist as required with booking transport requirements and preparing relevant templates to ensure goods cross without delays.

Requirements:
- Previous administrative experience (ideally in Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain etc)
- Very good Excel skills
- Attention to details
- Strong communication skills
- Great organizational skills
- Ability to work with deadlines
As a Transport & Customs Support Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Compliance Documentation
- Retrieve and store transport documents, invoices and declarations received daily by email, ensuring they are saved with the correct naming convention
- Download documents from transport providers portals and chase any missing documents
- Check folders and emails for missing paperwork
- Produce lists of missing documents
Document Audits
- Audit monthly report to ensure all related paperwork has been received and is stored
- Chase missing paperwork update report
- Escalate and resolve any issues with receiving missing documentation from relevant parties
CTUK Part Returns (PR) Warehouse Support
- Working with our Warehouse team manage the list of PR items received and raise corresponding invoice and delivery note templates for PRs to be exported
- Support Warehouse with updating Part Returns system (e-care) with relevant dates
Holiday Cover for Transport & Customs Specialist
- Arrange transport requirements as requested by Sales Support team and other departments and provide relevant paperwork
- Monitor shipments from factories and suppliers in EU and ensure paperwork is issued to customs brokers in timely manner
- File relevant paperwork as received from transport providers
