Are you a Transport Supervisor looking for an environment that will help accelerate your career? Can you juggle multiple tasks at any one time? If so, we are looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join us at our Gotham site working the night shift Monday-Friday on a full time, permanent basis.
Pay, benefits and more:
We are looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. We also offer 25 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Day-to-day you will meet our customers’ requirements for the profitable, safe and efficient transport of goods in accordance with company quality procedures- Execute the daily transport plan, by managing the drivers / resource efficiently cost effectively
- Maintain compliance and customer service, monitoring driver PDA compliance and other reporting requirements and driving continuous improvement
- Plan and optimise artic fleet and cover Planner absences
What you need to succeed at XPO:
Previous industry experience in a similar position- A CPC would be desirable
- Knowledge of using planning Paragon planning software in a transport/logistics environment would be a huge advantage but not a necessity
- Excellent attention to detail with a sound geographical knowledge of the UK
- A working knowledge of driver hours regulations
