This is a 4 on 4 off role with day shifts start times typically 06:00AM to 18:00PM but can vary depending on time of year and workloads.

What will you do in the role?
Ensuring the Transport Supervisors work effectively and in a timely manner to despatch and conduct effective driver debriefs.
Responsible for multi-channel Transport operation despatching parcels daily through primary network in peak periods and B2C collections weekly
Support the Transport Operations Manager to develop a peak plan in line with forecasted volumes and or changes in automation to meet financial and resourcing needs
Promoting and driving consistency to ensure the delivery of excellent operational standards
Lead by example in creating a high-performance people orientated culture/ employee engagement/ Carrying out regular individual 121’s, performance reviews and team meetings with team
Accountable for H&S and quality audits including risk assessments and safe systems of work in the Hub
Standing in for the Transport Operational Managers if needed with meetings/annual leave
Responsible for overall shift performance, compliance, client service levels, health and safety, employee engagement.
Accountable for sending detailed shift reports, root causing failed KPI’s supported evidence and an action plan to improve
Must have strong analytical skills, be data driven and use data to influence, challenge and drive performance and compliance
promoting and driving consistency to ensure the delivery of excellent operational standards.
Lead by example in creating a high-performance people orientated culture within the function that thinks inside the box.
What skills/qualifications are required?
- CPC National qualification
- Good Maths and English skills written and verbal
- PC Literate
- Full current driving licence
- Knowledge of Transport Operations
- Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment
