Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Transport Planner to join our National Planning Team in Derby. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced team creating route plans for our Drinks Network. This is a permanent, full time opportunity working Monday to Friday, office hours.

You’ll be paid a salary of £28,000 per annum. You’ll also receive 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Plan multi-drop routes for our fleet of rigid vehicles delivering beers, wines and spirits to various different client sites.
- Working with high profile clients to enable an efficient and effective operation.
- Conduct remedial planning to effectively manage live changes to the plan.
- Ensure that all related administrative work is carried out accurately and to a high standard.
- Maximise efficiencies through effective management of available resources.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Planning experience in a fast-paced environment, transport, events, scheduling.
- Project based experience and a continuous improvement mind-set.
- Problem solving abilities and a customer service focus.
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels and make confident business decisions.
- Experience with planning software from ESP or GTS is an advantage.
