Position: Transport First Line Manager
Location: Crewe CW1 6GH
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 (Flexibility Required, to be discussed at interview)
Salary: £28,000 - £31,500
Criminal Check required: Yes Basic

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • Maintain and action all defects immediately following the correct process and ensure any VOR vehicles are kept off the road until rectified
  • Ensure the site achieves a Green audit for Compliance, this involves tachomaster is updated, infringements signed off, service sheets are inspected, gatechecks are completed among others.
  • Promote health and safety throughout the transport operations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
  • Ensure all staff are trained in the relevant SSOWs to carry out their duties safely and effectively at work
  • Deliver performance dialogues and 121s with direct reports

  • IT Literate, with Microsoft Office Packages
  • First Line Manager experience is desirable
  • CPC desirable but not essential
