We are looking for an experienced Transportation Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our transportation system, including scheduling, route planning, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. The Transportation Coordinator must also be able to work with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and other members of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and coordinate the transportation of goods and services.
- Organise schedules and routes for delivery vehicles.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and shipments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in transportation processes.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,732.00-£27,057.00 per year
