Transformation Project Manager
Role Purpose
LBTH are currently looking for a Transformation Project Manager to join our Strategy and Transformation Team and help the Council deliver its transformation agenda. Transformation in Tower Hamlets is at a genuinely exciting stage; with the adoption of a new Strategic Delivery Plan there is a clear vision, lots to do and a real desire to improve customer experience. The scale of change is significant; we are working with and across all functions to maximise the impact of opportunities offered by partnership working, focusing on outcomes, and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
As a Transformation Project Manager, you will be responsible for three to four pivotal projects. You will support the Programme Managers and Head of Service to implement best practice, mentor less experienced project staff and provide advice and support to other areas of the organisation.
You will take ownership of project delivery, active risk, and stakeholder management, helping the organisation scope, design and deliver the right change. You will have a strong focus on outcomes and benefits management and be able to identify and articulate risks and issues in a way that enables the organisation to take informed decisions. You will matrix manage project teams and draw support from a central team of project professionals to deliver across the organisation.
Requirements
You will, demonstrate experience of successful project delivery within a large, complex, organisation, and have appropriate professional qualifications.
