_ Transformation Management Support post to join a friendly and busy GP Practice. _
_ The successful candidate will: _

  • Assist in delivering IT support to the Practice Team, including troubleshooting hardware issues and maintaining telephony systems
  • Assist in the responsibilities of the Practice’s social media accounts, website and newsletters as well as general communications
  • Assisting in the management and execution of clinical rotas
  • Assist and undertake risk assessments
  • Assist in the digital ‘transformation’ of the Practice – including looking at ways to offer most accessibility to our services
  • Engage with all internal and external stakeholders in a professional and positive manner
  • Be motivated, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure
  • Be flexible, willing to work mornings, afternoons and evenings, plus holiday and sickness cover

HOURS OF WORK: Contractually 8.00am to 8.00pm Monday to Sunday, the core hours will be 25 per week, 8.00am to 1.00pm
3 Monday to Friday, but with a degree of flexibility

SALARY: Level 2 - £23,400
£12.00 per hour

ABOUT US
The current list size of Danetre Medical Practice is approximately 12,800. Any increase
over the last ten years has been due mainly to; natural change (more births than deaths);
building development within Daventry itself and more recently migration from the rest of
the UK and overseas. The boundaries of the Practice show we are large in terms of
geographical size, with the majority of the land classified as rural.

The practice itself is located in close proximity to Daventry Town centre in a modern
building adjoining Danetre Hospital (a community hospital which opened in September
2006) offering a wide range of services and delivering a high standard of care. Also
attached to the Practice operating independently is Boots Chemist.

Currently the practice works with 5 x GP partners, 1 x Managing Partner, 4 x salaried GPs,
3 x Practitioners, 2 x Clinical Pharmacists and over 300Hrs of Clinical nursing support.

JOB PURPOSE
To support the wider Practice team to deliver a high quality, patient focussed service, working collaboratively as key member of the general Practice team.

***PLEASE NOTE FROM OCTOBER 1ST 2022, OUR OPENING HOURS WILL BE
EXTENDING TO 8.00PM UP TO THREE NIGHTS PER WEEK (MONDAY TO FRIDAY)
AND 1 SATURDAY IN 3, 9.00AM TO 5.00PM. ALL EMPLOYEES WILL BE ASKED TO
COVER THESE HOURS ON A ROTATIONAL BASIS ****

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

GENERAL

  • Work collaboratively as a key member of the general practice teams
  • Assist with Health & Safety and risk assessments
  • Assist with Significant Event admin
  • Assist with PAT testing/calibration
  • Assist with clinical rotas
  • Assist with implementing change and transformation across the practice to improve the efficiency or the patient/staff experience
  • Any other duties as prescribed by the department Manager

IT & DATA

  • Assist with IT & SytmOne (including IT hardware and dealing with external IT support)
  • Use technology to aid in planning, implementation and monitoring
  • Be computer literate in MS Office

COMMUNICATION

  • Act as one of the primary points of contact within the practice for the dissemination of information
  • Assist with marketing and communications (inclusive of notice boards, website, social media, Jayex and telephony systems)
  • Assist with anticipating barriers to communication and action to improve

QUALITY

  • Prioritise, organise and manage own workload in a manner that maintains and promotes quality
  • Participate in the maintenance of quality governance systems and processes across the Practice and its activities
  • Support and participate in shared learning across the practice and wider organisation
  • Ensure information governance standards are implemented and maintained

MANAGEMENT OF RISK

  • Assist with the assessment of risk within the areas of responsibility, ensuring adequate measures are in place to protect staff and patients
  • Undertake mandatory and statutory training
