Transformation, Customer and Sustainability Assurance Manager
Salary – National – circa £50,000, London – circa £75,000

The Transformation, Customer and Sustainability team within Internal Audit is growing at pace, with an exciting challenge to help Aviva transform performance and implement the Group’s strategy.
We are currently seeking an Audit Manager to join our Team in either our London, Bristol, Norwich or York offices, including flexible working from home patterns.
Working in an agile team of subject matter experts, you will contribute to the assurance assessment of the Groups change and transformation efforts, including initiatives that deliver against our Customer and Sustainability ambition, to help ensure Aviva can safely deliver against strategic goals. You will ensure success by understanding how the work is being planned and executed, assess for any gaps that limit efficiency and make recommendations for improvement.
A bit about the job:
As Audit Manager, you will play a key role in influencing the risk and control agenda, through:
Under the guidance of the Head of Internal Audit and working with colleagues to plan and execute audits to a high quality to provide audit assurance and insights over the highest risks facing Aviva
Communicate and report to the relevant stakeholders the assessment of the effectiveness of the framework of controls, root causes and culture
Developing business, strategy and risk knowledge - both your own and that of the wider team
building effective relationships with business and operational teams across Aviva
working collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver assurance assessments to time and quality
Support the production of objective, concise and insightful audit reports
You will also be able to contribute to the wider success of the Internal Audit function through our transformation and continuous improvement projects.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Previous experience in Internal or External audit, or equivalent experience in a similar risk and control role, is preferred, but not essential. Experience of working in an insurance or relevant financial services function, audit firm or UK regulator would also be beneficial, but is not critical. We are looking for candidates who get excited about:

What you’ll get for this role:
Starting National salary circa £50,000, starting London salary circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
