Staff365 are recruiting for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our clients existing Management team and be part of a well-respected global brand.
We are looking for a driven individual who has solid work experience ideally within a manufacturing environment and someone with strong leadership skills.
Salary £50,000
38 days Holiday including bank holidays
Monday – Thursday 08:00-16:30, Friday 08:00-15:30
Flexi time working available with the core business hours of work being 09:30 – 15:00
Brief overview of the role;
Create strategy to achieve mid to short term vision set by senior management through lean manufacturing practises.
Responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and performance of the Value Stream.
Appoint, coach, and guide a manufacturing team.
Take responsibility for collaboration with support function to achieve goals through continuous improvement achieving KPI’s set in efficiency, scrap rate, OEE, cost savings and production (QCDH)
Develop and guide a team to build a learning organisation that coordinates processes as efficiently and optimally as possible.
The type of person we are looking for;
Educated to Degree level or equivalent, Engineering, Technical etc
Background within medium/high volume manufacturing/engineering environment
Approximately 5- 6 years’ experience is needed to perform the job at a competent level.
Proven experience of Managing People/Division.
Solid experience and understanding of most common Microsoft packages especially excel.
Highly experienced in working under own initiative, demonstrating an ability to set & meet personal targets, combined with the flexibility to adjust to workload priorities to take account of new deadlines.
Interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
