THE ROLE
The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating onboarding and training initiatives of new staff. You will work closely with management and employees to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
Lead the induction process and conduct training sessions for new full-time staff.- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees.
- Administer and manage the organization's LMS to track and monitor training progress, enrollments, and completion rates.
- Ensure that training content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Design and implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Develop training content, including presentations, training manuals, e-learning modules, and other instructional materials.
- Work closely with other departments and stakeholders, including human resources, department managers, and subject matter experts, to identify training needs, align training programs with business objectives, and ensure training initiatives are integrated into the overall organizational strategy.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide the most relevant and valuable training to employees. Engage in ongoing professional development activities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in teaching, lesson planning, and curriculum development
- At least 1 year of experience using an LMS/ATS
- Experience with onboarding, training, and induction
Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience in leading induction programs and professional development

- Demonstrate confidence, strong public speaking, and presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Thoroughly understand the organization’s goals, mission, and plans
The target annual base pay range for this position is $65,000-$75,000. Final pay determinations may depend on various factors including, but not limited to, experience level, education, geographical location, knowledge, and skills.
