This role forms part of the Engagement & Learning Team who are responsible for learning, engagement and internal communications for the business. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting with all elements of event co-ordination for Learning, Engagement & Internal Communications. This would include promotion of learning & engagement events, arranging hospitality, room layout and equipment, liaising with trainers/partners, booking rooms, printing and distributing course materials and ensuring required equipment is available and in working order.
- Developing and maintaining accurate and easily accessible records for all events and through this, supporting the provision of management information and budget tracking.
- Assisting with the evaluation of learning initiatives for example, ensuring evaluation forms are completed and returned following learning events and interpreting results.
- Registering colleagues for external courses and qualifications
- Developing and maintaining positive, collaborative working relationships with all colleagues to sustain the reputation of the People & Culture team as a customer focused function.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Previous experience working in a fast paced, customer focussed environment.
- Some experience of events coordination and/or applying L&D principles
- Experience of data analysis and information reporting
- Experience of providing support to meetings and events to enable them to run effectively.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Where you will work
Our aim is to keep the great balance we have achieved with hybrid working. We’ve recently returned to delivering fantastic face to face learning events and the successful candidate would therefore be willing to work both remotely and from Cumberland House as and when required to support the Learning & Development team and the set up and delivery of any events. This would be a minimum of at least 1 day per week in the office.
