Dawson, a K-12 independent school of 535 students located east of Boulder on a beautiful 112-acre campus, seeks a Marketing and Engagement Coordinator. The school community is engaged, collaborative, and committed to the healthy development and education of all its students. The Marketing and Engagement Coordinator is a key member of the school’s Marketing and Development team. The Marketing and Engagement Coordinator works closely with the Director of Development and the Director of Marketing and Communications to build a culture of philanthropy and engagement at Dawson through community-building, fundraising events, and strategic communications.

Professional and Personal Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience in Marketing or Development.
Excellent written, oral, and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and an eye for good design.
Comfortable taking photographs at events.
Experience using Canva, Hootsuite, or other social media management software required.
Social media, communications, and graphic design skills desired.
Event planning experience desired.
Blackbaud/Raiser's Edge knowledge a plus.
Event Planning
Provides organized back-end support for all school and development events, including community-building events, Farm-to-Table, Grandparents Day, stewardship events, and the spring gala.
Manages event logistics, including invitations, mailings, follow-up calls and emails, and preparation of event materials.
Monitors and adheres to all budgets related to events.
Partners with the Director of Development, Director of Marketing, and the volunteer committee to plan and execute a successful spring gala.
Marketing and Communications Support
Supports the Director of Development and Director of Marketing and Communications in creating content and design for print and digital collaterals, such as solicitation letters, emails, e-newsletters, direct mail, and the Annual Report.
Help develop editorial plans for social media and execute posts.
Prepares materials for Dawson Fund volunteers, including personalized thank you notes and training materials.
May support website updates, including development of campaign landing pages.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 and commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k) and generous time-off.
