Training Manager (Part-Time, Job-Share, or Full-Time)
Location: Swindon
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependant on experience

What will you be doing?

This is your opportunity to shape the growth and success of our new hires as they embark on their journey within Zurich. As Training Manager, you will have the chance to inspire and empower individuals, enabling them to deliver exceptional service and drive business success. You will play a pivotal role in establishing the future of new recruits, as well as monitoring and creating development plans for existing colleagues.

Join us as Training Manager, and you will have the opportunity to shape our Contact Centre’s success through the following core responsibilities:

  • Induction and Academy Training: Design and deliver engaging and comprehensive training programs for new hires, focusing on induction and establishing the academy. Equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Modular Training Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and enhance modular training programs that upskill Contact Centre employees for new business calls and service calls. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure our training remains current, innovative and effective.
  • Training Delivery and Content Creation: Facilitate training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques and technologies. Create high-quality training content, including presentations, e-learning modules, and assessments, to engage learners and promote knowledge retention.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback from participants. Utilise data-driven insights to continuously enhance and optimise training content and delivery methods.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and teams across the organization to identify training needs, share best practices, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a contact centre or customer service environment
  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills, with a focus on induction and academy training
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, adapting content to meet diverse learning styles and needs
  • Proficiency in learning management systems, e-learning tools, and other training technologies
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, ensuring timely delivery of training initiatives
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset, open to incorporating new methodologies and technologies into training practices
  • Relevant certifications in training and development are desirable, but not essential
