Leadership Development Manager - up to £42500 - 12 months FIXED TERM CONTRACT potentially to permanent

The role is home-based Leadership Development covering Northeast and Scotland, so ideally located, County Durham, Darlington, Glasgow, Edinburgh
This is an exciting time for a Leadership Development person to join a successful business and a talented team. The role of Leadership Development is ideal for a motivational and inspirational Leadership Development professional to join the business on their journey.
The successful candidate will need to have a Training/ Teaching qualification, Leadership Development experience, and ideally, a CIPD qualification, you will have comprehensive knowledge and experience in developing and facilitating learning and growth programmes within a large and complex organisational setting.
You have experience in applying all aspects of the training cycle and working consultatively with internal and external customers and providers.
You will have a background in leadership development, organisational development and ideally within the healthcare arena.
The role:
- Ensure people managers and leaders people currently feel confident, knowledgeable, skilled, and inspired in carrying out their roles across our business and there are clear pathways of development for colleagues who aspire to be leaders of the future.
- Grow business managers and leaders, supporting them to ensure they can compassionately continue to support the delivery of thoughtful, tailored care, and support, to the internal customers and health and social care stakeholders.
- Strengthen and develop effective organisational change via driving and reinforcing strong change leadership, ensuring transactional and transformational change is embedded.
- To provide learning and development expertise on wider people development projects linked to leading and managing
- To work in collaboration with the team and business stakeholders to develop, review and evaluate leadership and management development programmes, cultural analysis and change management tools.
- To facilitate the provision of a flexible and planned programme of workshops and coaching that is consistent, consultative quality training/ learning and development.
- To build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the operational community and external providers
- To keep up to date with organisational development in the leadership, learning and development arena, through participation in external networking, skills and sector forums, journals etc.
The role is integral to creating a culture of learning, continual professional growth and strong, effective, compassionate leadership. It provides an opportunity for you to work consultatively with business stakeholders and external providers to develop and deliver value for money and innovative and impactful learning. The scope of the role includes utilising your training/ L&D expertise to lead on organisational development companywide projects.
This role is home based with frequent travel
Candidate:
- With a Training/ Teaching qualification, and ideally CIPD qualified, you will have comprehensive knowledge and experience in developing and facilitating learning and growth programmes within a large and complex organisational setting.
- You have experience in applying all aspects of the training cycle and working consultatively with internal and external customers and providers.
- You are a confident communicator who creates credible and professional relationships at all levels.
- You have experience in designing and facilitating high-quality learning resources, using appropriate technology to present a blended approach which delivers quality and value for money.
- You have applied practical knowledge of leading and managing individuals and teams, coaching, and developing existing leaders and working in partnership with other areas and stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.
