Our strategy of gaining market share through meeting clients' needs, investing in and developing high quality talent and using technology and innovation to enhance our services has led to significant growth. We now operate from eight bases: Bristol, Southampton, Exeter, Truro, Plymouth, Taunton, London and Manchester.
Our people are critical to our success. We help our employees achieve their aspirations through offering meaningful careers with balanced rewards, which have been carefully designed to focus on personal wellbeing. We offer continual opportunities for support and professional development through our Business Skills Academy. We believe in empowering each other to achieve and strive to create a progressive and inclusive working environment.
The role of a Trainee Solicitor
Our training contracts are based at three locations: Bristol, Southampton and Exeter and are firm wide which means you may be working away from your base location for 1 or 2 days per week. One of the traits of a good solicitor is the ability to cross-sell and this multi office approach allows you to build a strong foundation for when you qualify. Furthermore, we are looking to develop you into a business advisor within one of our six key sectors and it is vital you have a breadth and depth of experience in order to achieve this. Working across teams and offices will ensure you are successful.
As one of our trainees, you will have regular and open communication with your supervisors. You will get lots of exposure to high quality work, different situations, clients and to people within the firm who will help you to develop your legal and commercial expertise, in an environment that is friendly and supportive. We aim to recruit talented future solicitors and you will be given the opportunity to reach your full potential with us.
