The Role:
A rewarding opportunity has arisen to join the Engineering Systems Competency Centre (ESCC), part of the Information Management and Technology (IM&T) Team, to help develop, deliver and maintain new and existing training courses across various Engineering IT toolsets such as CATIA, Siemens NX, Teamcentre Enterprise/Unified, Teamcentre Visualisation (Mock-up/Professional) and Atlassian Suite of tools (Jira, Confluence & Bitbucket)
What you’ll be doing:
- Analysing training requirements and develop new material and courses
- Delivering existing training courses
- Continual Service Improvement of material/courses and environment
- Maintaining the training environments
- Providing ad-hoc training as and when required
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- IT/Engineering background and/or qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages such as, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of video capturing tools such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia
- Experience of preparing and delivering training desirable
The Information Management and Technology team:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Information Management and Technology Team, who are responsible for designing, developing and delivering training and support for IM&T toolsets and application solutions for the world’s most advanced military aircraft. The team manage a number of engineering toolsets and applications used by thousands of engineers of varying specialisms across the Air organisation to do their day-to-day jobs. You will be working primarily on the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programme, whilst also providing support to legacy platforms.
