Sales, Marketing, Training & Membership
Our Sales, Marketing, Training & Membership department oversee all the commercial elements for our organisation: liaising and supporting our technical functions with marketing campaigns, market research, developing key accounts, overall strategy and ensuring our members have added value through our services and consultancy.
We also provide a wide range of training courses from introductions into microbiology, Food Science & Technology, Thermal Processing etc to advanced HACCP and international regulatory courses.
Position
- Drive sales of tailored training courses to existing and new clients
- Account management to maintain and develop client relationships
- Spotting further opportunities for selling
- Administration of secured sales (quoting/invoicing/client liaison/internal staff liaison etc)
- Contact new and existing clients for e-Learning via email, phone etc
- Negotiating sales related to volume (e-Learning)
- Proactive sales development of a new product (e-Learning)
- Maintain records of all account engagements through CRM and other management reporting as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales/account management role
- Professional and proactive approach, confident communicator
- Experience of dealing with large corporate clients
- Ideally, experience of selling within the food and drink industry and/or experience of selling training
- Experience of CRM systems
- Strong team player with confident communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels
