Training and Sentinel Administrator
Doncaster
We are currently working with a major engineering contractor specializing in overhead rail electrification who are looking to expand their team by recruiting a Training and Sentinel Administrator to join their Doncaster office. As Training and Sentinel Administrator you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring that training and assessment is delivered in compliance with relevant industry and company standards.
As Training and Sentinel Administrator your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- To assist in ensuring that training and assessment is delivered in compliance with relevant industry and company standards.
- To liaise with the resource teams and other colleagues to respond to training and assessment requests.
- To assist with the collation of Logbooks in preparation for arranging recertification training.
- To assist with maintaining the Sentinel Expiry Reports and identify training and assessment requirements in advance of expiry.
- To maintain and ensure the Non-Sentinel Training Matrix is kept up to date and training requirements are identified in advance of expiry.
- To maintain and keep internal records up to date, in preparation for various reporting.
- To assist with providing relevant figures for reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- To liaise with external suppliers to book training and assessment requirements.
- To conduct Sentinel checks to check eligibility for training and assessment bookings.
- To complete booking forms and PO requisitions for training and assessment bookings, liaising with the accounts team to ensure prompt payment.
- To provide joining instructions for training and assessment bookings, direct to the employee and relevant Line Managers.
- To ensure sure that Signal is updated with bookings to prevent shift overlaps.
- To arrange Medical and Drug and Alcohol Tests to comply with Network Rail standards (including Pre-sponsorship, Renewals and Unannounced Tests).
- Provide feedback on Unannounced Drug and Alcohol Testing and the escalation of positive results for management action.
- To assist with onboarding sponsorship requests.
- To administer the Network Rail E-Learning platform.
Job requirements:
- Ideally Rail, Engineering, or construction office-based administration environment experience.
- Attention for detail.
- Quick learner
- Computer literacy
- Minimum of 12 months administration experience ideally in sentinel or a training environment.
- Clear Communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and good time management skills.
