Our client portfolio covers a diverse range of business entities with a focus on property tax and we have achieved significant levels of year-on-year growth. We now wish to recruit two talented individual to join us as a trainee accountants as we progress forward with further expansion.

The position will ideally appeal to someone who understands the vital importance of client facing skills and an eye for detail. An AAT part qualified or graduate, or if you are someone mature seeking an opportunity to build a career. Demonstrate to us that you have the desire and aptitude to become a well-rounded professional, willing to learn the basics and contribute to the success of the firm and we will reward you with a career path and financial success. Your Excel and Microsoft Office skills need to be robust. Candidates must demonstrate determination, good communication skills and enthusiasm.
The Trainee Accountant will initially undertake a wide range of general accounting duties beginning with and including the following before progressing on to other areas:
- Preparing tax returns
- Liaising directly with clients
- Producing schedules of income and expenses
- Dealing with enquiries
- Assist in accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, Landlords and high net worth individuals.
- VAT returns
- Capital Gains Tax, Stamp Duty and Inheritance Tax planning
- Bookkeeping duties
- Ad-hoc duties including tax planning
