Trainee Surface Repair Technician North West England
Job description
We are seeking an ambitious Trainee Surface Repair Technician to join our fast growing business. On completion of training you will be responsible for repairing and restoring surfaces such as UPVC, ceramic, bricks, tiles and kitchen work tops/cupboards.
This role requires knowledge of various repair techniques and the ability to work with a range of materials. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills, time management skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- To complete all training to a high level of standard
- Prepare surfaces for repair by cleaning, sanding, or removing old materials
- Mix and apply fillers, adhesives, and other materials to damaged areas
- Sand and smooth surfaces to ensure a seamless finish
- Paint or refinish surfaces to match the surrounding area
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations
- Document all repairs and materials used
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving license and able to travel to and from site
- Keen eye for detail
