We have an exciting career opportunity for an enthusiastic Trainee Stairlift Installation Engineer to join our Andover Installation team.

Candidates ideally need to be in the Andover area as you will be working in and around the surrounding area.

The role as a Trainee Stairlift Installation Engineer is to install and remove straight and curved Stairlift products within domestic settings.

Ideal candidates will be of smart appearance, be self-motivated and enthusiastic, having the ability to demonstrate a high standard of workmanship.

Candidates should have a mechanical/electrical background. Our culture of continuous improvement will ensure that you have every opportunity for training and development on new products.

A valid full driving licence is essential and a DBS check is also required for this role.

Responsibilities of a Trainee Stairlift Installation Engineer:

  • Learn and develop the technical skills required to install and remove stairlifts within customers’ homes safely and competently.
  • Collecting stairlifts and equipment from the depot to deliver to site
  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate level of technical knowledge of products
  • Responsibility for checking lift specification when loading ensuring the suitability with the end user
  • Maintaining suitable records
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Resolving issues to customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • DBS
  • Non-licensable work with asbestos (desirable)
  • Full UK driving license required
