Do you want to work for an organisation that makes a difference, every single day, to people from all walks of life? We are offering an opportunity to qualify as a Solicitor.
You’ll support some of our most vulnerable clients with complex and life changing issues such as unlawful eviction, disrepair, eviction and homelessness. You will qualify either the LPC route (if you meet the SRA's criteria under the transitional arrangements) or the new Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) route. We're offering a 2 year training contract (with poss. reduction to 18 months if you can demonstrate prior QWE), with either the PSC or SQE 2 fully funded by CAM as appropriate.
Sound exciting?
To be considered for this traineeship, you will need to have a minimum 2(1) degree in law or other degree and:
- To qualify under the LPC route, you'll have successfully completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (if relevant) and the Legal Practice Course ahead of commencing the training contract.
- To qualify under the SQE route, you'll have passed SQE 1 ahead of commencing the training contract and be suitable and willing to complete SQE 2 within the first year.
The training contract provides Qualifying Work Experience for those wishing to qualify via the SQE. We value all our people and can offer a supportive culture within a charity setting that is committed to social justice. The role attracts an attractive remuneration package with excellent terms and conditions (see job pack for more info).
