School Bus Driver – Wigan and Bolton Area

Stagecoach Manchester operates over 800 buses throughout Greater Manchester. We employ over 2,000 colleagues in Manchester alone and 25,000 across the UK.

We’re currently looking for enthusiastic individuals who are up for a new challenge to join our new ‘School Unit’ Operations team based in the Wigan and Bolton area.

What you will be doing:

As a school bus driver, you’ll be the face of our business – playing an incredibly important role each and every day, safely and comfortably transporting our local children to school.

We’re relying on you to give them a fantastic journey to remember with your focus on all things customer.

You’ll need to operate the bus safely of course, but we’ll teach you all you need to know in our in-house training school. If that’s not enough, you’ll also become part of an incredible family.

What are we offering:

£15 an hour, full training to PCV standards, working split shifts Monday to Friday (no weekends) and guaranteed 20-32 hours a week (dependant on contract).

The role is term time only, but we will pay you on a pro rata basis all year round, with the benefit of having School Holidays off.

What you’ll need:

A passion for people, full driving license with no more than 6 penalty points, a full DBS check (arranged in house) and a desire to deliver a great experience for our customers.
