We are looking for friendly and ambitious people who can create a memorable showroom experience for our customers to join our busy Used Car Sales team at Hendy Ford in Fareham. If you are a confident customer service hero with a passion for people, we want to hear from you!
You will be eager to learn, taking your first step on the vehicle sales career ladder, to gain experience and progress in an exciting and rewarding environment.
The Opportunity:
Through our expertise in the Sales arena, we will provide you with the right tools and training to thrive within this fast-paced environment. An ongoing training plan, focusing on your development, will be implemented to ensure you build the skills required to succeed.
Whether it is by phone, online or face to face, you will be responsible for building rapport with customers to assess their needs and make recommendations for suitable products and services to meet those needs. You will prepare the showroom and vehicles for the day ahead; organise and accompany customers on test drives, bringing the driving experience to life; and share your passion for our cars with customers, showing off each vehicles’ spec and features, whilst maintaining a relaxed atmosphere for the customer.

About You:
To be a success in this role you will have an excellent understanding of cars and enjoy sharing your knowledge and information in a clear and engaging way. Although previous experience in a sales or customer facing role within the automotive industry would be advantageous, it is not an essential requirement. More importantly, you will be:
- Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic, willing to work hard and learn as you go;
- A fast learner who loves to absorb new information;
- Fanatical about cars and customer service, always happy to go the extra mile;
- A people person, ideally with previous experience of customer facing roles or events; and
- A driver, with a full UK licence.
