WhiteAvon Consultancy is part of The Farm Consultancy Group with offices in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. We work with a growing number of agricultural businesses across the South and West, South Wales and West and East Midlands.
Our dynamic team comprising ten consultants covering a comprehensive range of specialisms including technical farm advice, dairy, nutrition, business management, stewardship, compliance and health & safety.
Ongoing training and development of all our staff through our unrivalled Farm Consultancy Group training programme is of primary importance and a major part of our consultant’s career growth.
Due to recent expansion of the firm, we are now recruiting for an agricultural business graduate or recently qualified consultant to join our team in the following role.
Trainee Rural Development Consultant
This is a rewarding and varied role where the successful candidate will assist with our growing base of clients working with our existing consultants and business management team learning a range of specialisms (disciplines) to include general farm business and budgeting, soil nutrient advice, countryside stewardship, environmental land management, sustainable farming incentive, natural capital planning justifications and grant projects.
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to join our busy and committed team with a passion for farming and a keen eye for figures and detail. A full training programme will be offered including experience in all aspects of business and practical farm management.
